Beautiful picture to the end of a perfect day.
This was taken at the end of our street at the Niagara River and Canada across it. Photo credit to my niece, Britt for taking the picture while Chase held up the sun!
Such a peaceful place to watch a sunset
It’s majestic reflecting on the water with the pink hue. This was the sunset from the boat tonight over Canada. It was 87 degrees and humid. Perfect night for a sunset swim and ride.
Here is the progression of the sunset
And two happy girls who were able to enjoy it on a summer night
Is there any better way to spend a warm evening than with a sunset swim? The kids had a little fun on the boat tubing and then snorkeling around a small island, Motorboat Island, near Buffalo, NY and finishing with a quick dip at sunset. Work, farm work, and boating…I’m ready for bed!!!
It was a VERY hot and humid day today. My kids worked something called Kidz Biz. It is at our town hall and kids can rent spaces and sell goods. It is set up to teach them about running a business. My kids had a Karaoke stage and sold some chips and drinks. It was 93 degrees with over 80% humidity. I could barely last the 6 hours with setting up and tearing down. We all raced home and jumped into the pool. It was brutally hot but the kids worked their booth and made about $46.00 after paying the loans they took out (from mom and dad to buy the items and rent the space) so they were hot but happy.
My neighbor took the picture above at the river. It was a beautiful sunset over Canada.
Here are some pictures of the Kidz Biz event. UGH….it was hot and I am so NOT a heat person!!
Stunning picture of the sun setting over Lake Erie. Photo courtesy of my cousin, Kim!!
Seeing this sunset while walking in from the barn instantly made me start to sing “Blaze of Glory” by Bon Jovi. I had to come in and play it on youtube. The storm parted for a few minutes and this was the most beautiful picture. It is now pouring rain, thundering and lightening, so glad I had my cell phone to capture this.
