Peace Bridge connecting Buffalo and Fort Erie, Canada. The water is so calm and the reflection was more beautiful in person than this picture can portray!! It’s amazing something you see almost daily can appear totally different and beautiful from a boat.

Island Living
My son’s school had a field trip around the Island visiting our town hall, the local police station with the jail cells (the kids were able to enter them), and a few other original areas. They were given this picture as a momento of our Island. It’s shaped like a pork chop as you can see. That was the most amusing part for the kids.
The boat pictures on another post are pictures taken on the right side of the Island as you see it. Our home is located just left of the dirt divider you see running in the middle of the Island which is a pipeline. We call this Island home 🙂
End of the Rainbow
Still Amazed
I find it funny after all this time I am still amazed when I collect the eggs from our hens. I don’t know what it is about opening the coop door and finding that little bit of magic that must have taken place and there is a fresh egg. I am thankful for our hens and I know they are happy roaming about freely, not caged, and they thank us with that beautiful egg. That is how I explained it to our children. And while it’s their job to collect the eggs, sometimes I can’t help but sneak out and feel the excitement of collecting that special bit of magic I know will be waiting.
Cloud Clash over Fort Erie
You may be getting tired of all my cloud pictures but this has been such a stormy spring and the clouds are AMAZING!! Tonight coming out of the ice rink in Fort Erie this was the sky above us. The air was warm and humid and almost “thick” feeling but it was this beautiful picture above my head that took my breath away!!
