Sissy stuck her head out and went right back into the coop after we had snow last night.
All winter we begged for snow! My kids love snow, we are outdoor people regardless of the snow. But we only had a few lucky days of it compared to last year when we were buried most of the winter (this was the last week of March 2015)
Now we have switched to “spring” mode and sure enough here comes the snow!!
I actually planted bulbs yesterday from our hyacinth plants and the primrose are in full bloom as seen in the pictures below:
And this is the little garden today after a bit of the warm sun melting the snow.
Tonight we are getting another 5-8 inches so somehow, someway…we need to switch our minds back into winter mode for a few days.
Easier said than done!!
Beautiful picture to the end of a perfect day.
This was taken at the end of our street at the Niagara River and Canada across it. Photo credit to my niece, Britt for taking the picture while Chase held up the sun!
Such a peaceful place to watch a sunset
This was the beautiful morning sky and mist over the cabin and back pastures this morning when I headed out to feed the animals.
It was 63 degrees in Buffalo, NY today. Last year at this time, I was trying to blaze trails in the snow to get to the pastures. Not sure I like this warm weather but the skies make up for it!
These were the clouds over the soccer field tonight.
I am amazed at the skies sometimes. It almost appears to be a heart displaying itself.
In the second picture the clouds seem to be sinking, rolling in and enveloping the houses in the distance. You could actually feel the cold air from them.
Take the time every day to look up into the sky. It’s worth every second!
This was the sky tonight between our Island and Canada. It was a perfect “date” night to drift and reflect on our wonderful vacation rather than work on the yard!!
Even Disco was amazed by our sunset last night. It was a true work of art!
Beautiful storm clouds rolling in over the marina tonight. The kids had just enough time to enjoy the surprise of our new boat, “Chasin’ Chances” before the storm hit.
Even Grandma had time to look it over
It was a race against clouds to get back home, close all the windows and tuck the animals in before the rain…and we won 🙂
